Being only boat accessible just adds to the exclusivity of the Baie Ternay beach. This means that the beach is not frequented often by many visitors. The shallow waters break upon the narrow strip of sand, submerging vast sea grass beds ready to be explored through snorkeling. Being a part of the Baie Ternay National Marine Park means that there is so much more to discover than just the view of the expanse of sea. Supporting many coastal habitats allows tourist and locals alike, to spot many sea creatures such as whale sharks and dolphins. There are an array of day boat tour excursions that are built around the needs of the clients and often include lunch such as barbecues and Creole style meals on the beach. These tours can be found along the beach of Beau Vallon as well as in hotels and dive centers. Tickets for mooring a personal boat can also be purchased through Marine Park guards around the Marine Park area.
It is also important that the eco-system of the Marine Park is left intact and that all garbage is disposed of properly as to no endanger the turtle feeding grounds. Baie Ternay is a true ocean of wonders in the North.
