About us
Rita's interest in the arts ranges from manipulative crafts and paintings, to digital photography and multi-media experiments.
She uses these means of visual representations to tell stories about the surrounding fauna and flora of the islands, not just for posterity but for her own growth as an artist.
Rita also participates in different competitions and several major group and solo exhibitions that mostly have to do with nature. She enjoy to share and to learn by doing.
It is her sincere wish to assist with the protection and conservation of endemic species of plants and animals that live in the Seychelles. She does so through artworks and she often give her time to help associations and NGOs.
Rita was once the chairman of mizopwen the association of photographer of Seychelles and now she is currently a member of PRO ART Seychelles and she is registered with National Art council of Seychelles.
The gallery is located at the artist residence "Kaz an bwa", a house built in 1997.
